BEAVERTON, Ore., Oct. 6, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Mobile Power Solutions, a leading provider of engineered Lithium-ion battery solutions, battery testing and regulatory compliance services, today announced the MPS Series, a new product line of off-the-shelf Lithium-ion batteries. The MPS Series of batteries expands the current portfolio of custom-engineered batteries that Mobile Power Solutions offers to its Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customers. The new MPS Series provides customers with immediate, cost-effective access to domestically manufactured lithium-ion batteries engineered for premium quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
The MPS Series of Lithium-ion batteries features premium cylindrical Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) cells, battery management electronics that extend cycle life by protecting the cells from abuse conditions, a cell balancing connection, and compliance with the UN 38.3 transportation regulations. Initial models will be available in 21.6 V and 43.2 V configurations. Optional features include enhanced battery management protection functions, fuel gauging combined with communications capability and active cell balancing.
The MPS Series is manufactured in Beaverton, Oregon, in an ISO 17025, ISO 9001:2015, and AS 9100D production facility, thereby ensuring premium quality. The facility is also registered under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), making the batteries suitable for U.S. defense and military applications. The batteries are designed to support compliance with applicable National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) requirements.
