The 7 Series sits atop BMW’s sedan lineup as its flagship sedan, including its all-electric counterpart, the i7.

As part of BMW’s revamped lineup, which will include 40 new or refreshed models through 2027, BMW introduced the new 7 Series and i7 earlier this year.

The flagship sedan “takes the lead when it comes to the introduction of technologies from the Neue Klasse into existing models,” BMW said.

Unlike the new iX3 and i3, which are ground-up Neue Klasse EVs, the new i7 retains its classic flagship design with a modern twist.

Although it still has BMW’s massive kidney grille, it features a slightly smaller version with available “Kidney Iconic Glow.” It also has a new minimalist crystal headlights that replace the outgoing i7’s stacked headlight design.

Inside, the i7 adopts BMW’s Neue Klasse design and technology with plenty of digital screens. The setup includes a 17.9″ floating center infotainment display, BMW’s Panoramic Vision spanning the dashboard, and a 14.6″ passenger entertainment screen.

It’s powered by the latest BMW Operating System X, which includes an in-car intelligent assistant with Amazon Alexa+ AI technology.

The rear passengers get an upgraded 31.3″ 8K BMW Theatre Screen that drops down from the roof to watch movies or work on the go. Other premium features include new ambient lighting, updated automatic doors, and a digital interior mirror.

To make longer road trips more comfortable, the new i7 features ergonomically designed seats and standard adaptive 2-axle air suspension.

Like the iX3, the new i7 uses BMW’s sixth-generation (Gen6) eDrive. The 113 kWh battery provides up to 447 miles (720 km) of WLTP range. In the US, BMW estimates the 2027 i7 will offer up to 362 miles of EPA range.

Sounds like it would make a good Chauffeur vehicle. BMW UK launched a dedicated Chauffeur Program using the new 7 Series and electric i7.

The program is designed to reduce downtime and help professional chauffeurs grow their business with tailored solutions.

BMW’s program includes Service Inclusive, a five-year service plan covering unlimited mileage for the new 7 Series and i7. It also includes a one-year subscription to BMW Security PRO, a 24/7 vehicle protection and tracking system to safeguard the vehicle.

As part of the program, BMW is also offering Mobility Support, which lets drivers use a licensed replacement or receive support during warranty repairs. It also includes BMW’s high-voltage battery warranty for up to eight years or 100,000 miles.

The program is available through BMW retailers across the UK and open to licensed private hire operators, chauffeur companies, executive transport providers, luxury hotel house-car fleets, corporate and VIP transport operators, and self-employed chauffeurs. However, BMW said the program is not available to taxi operators.
