Leapmotor (HKEX: 9863) has launched its A10 small electric SUV in Thailand, expanding its local lineup as the Chinese electric vehicle maker accelerates its overseas push to support delivery growth.

Leapmotor held a launch event in Bangkok on Friday, marking the A10's official entry into the Thai market, the company said in a statement. The model is known internationally as the B03X.

The vehicle has arrived at 19 showrooms in Thailand. Leapmotor did not disclose local pricing or specify when customer deliveries would begin in the statement.

The A10's long-range version offers an NEDC range of 450 kilometers (280 miles) and supports DC charging at up to 133 kW. Under specified conditions, the battery can charge from 30% to 80% in as little as 16 minutes.

The model features a 14.6-inch 2.5K central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, along with multiple driver-assistance features. It also offers a 106-liter washable underfloor storage compartment for everyday use.

Thailand is a key market for Leapmotor's expansion in Southeast Asia. The company plans to launch the updated C10 locally in 2026 and continue introducing new models based on market demand.

Leapmotor also plans to have 30 sales and service outlets in place by year-end, while developing a local spare parts warehouse and a technical service center to improve after-sales response times.

The A10 extends Leapmotor's product roll-out in Thailand, following the C10's local launch in 2024 and the B10 electric SUV's introduction in October 2025.

Overseas business is becoming an important driver of Leapmotor's sales growth. The company exported 27,454 vehicles in September, up 298.58% year-on-year and 50.39% from August, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.

In the first 9 months of this year, Leapmotor exported 159,572 vehicles, up 322.46% year-on-year.

Leapmotor's overseas expansion is supported by Leapmotor International, its joint venture with Stellantis NV (NYSE: STLA). Stellantis holds a 51% stake in the venture, which has exclusive rights to sell and manufacture Leapmotor products outside Greater China.

Including China and overseas markets, Leapmotor delivered a record 105,656 vehicles globally in September, exceeding 100,000 for the third consecutive month. Deliveries in the first 9 months totaled 666,539 vehicles, up 68.52% year-on-year.
