Leapmotor sets September delivery record of 105,656, topping 100,000 for third straight month

Leapmotor (HKEX: 9863) delivered a record 105,656 vehicles globally in September, up 58.51% year-on-year and 2.45% from August, topping 100,000 for the third consecutive month.
The Chinese automaker released its latest delivery figures on Thursday, alongside updates on its exports and European sales and service network.
While delivery volumes continued to climb, September's year-on-year growth slowed from August's 80.72%. Month-on-month growth accelerated from 1.84% in August.
Leapmotor delivered a record 310,052 vehicles in the third quarter, up 78.34% year-on-year and 25.87% from the second quarter, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
Deliveries in the first 9 months totaled 666,539 vehicles, up 68.52% year-on-year and already exceeding the 596,555 vehicles delivered in all of 2025.
Leapmotor has achieved about 66.7% of its previously announced full-year delivery target of 1,000,000 vehicles. To meet that goal, it needs to deliver 333,461 vehicles in the fourth quarter, averaging about 111,154 per month — above September's level.
Its overseas business is also expanding. Leapmotor said it exported more than 27,000 vehicles in September, with cumulative exports exceeding 150,000 vehicles in the first 9 months.
Leapmotor exported 18,255 vehicles in August. Its previous monthly export high this year was 21,000 vehicles in June, according to data compiled by CnEVPost.
Leapmotor's overseas expansion is supported by Leapmotor International, its joint venture with Stellantis NV (NYSE: STLA), which handles exports and sales outside China.
Leapmotor also said its European sales and service network has grown to more than 1,000 locations, and that it will appear at the 2026 Paris Motor Show on October 12.
Alongside rising deliveries, Leapmotor is preparing its next phase of product expansion. Founder, chairman and CEO Zhu Jiangming said at the company's technology day on September 17 that its second brand is scheduled to debut and begin vehicle deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2027.
