Summary
Leapmotor has previewed the A10s, a sportier special edition of its A10 small electric SUV, featuring black bodywork, red accents and upgraded cabin trim. Pricing, launch timing and powertrain details remain unannounced, as the teaser follows a 24.08% month-on-month drop in A10 deliveries in September.

Leapmotor (HKEX: 9863) has teased its A10s small electric SUV, featuring black bodywork and red accents that give the A10 lineup a sportier look.
The Chinese EV maker previewed the A10s exterior and interior on Weibo on Wednesday, but has yet to announce pricing, launch timing or powertrain specifications.
Based on the details released so far, the A10s appears to be a special edition of the A10, with changes focused on colors, trim and cabin features. Whether it will receive a powertrain upgrade remains unclear.
Official images show the vehicle in a black finish called "Mirror Night Black," with gunmetal-gray branding, a distinctive red "S" rear badge and 18-inch black sport wheels.
Leapmotor's official posters for the A10s:
The cabin features a "Modern Gray" color scheme, seats combining suede and synthetic leather with red stitching and special embroidery, as well as ventilated front seats and rear ambient lighting.
The teaser comes after the A10 recorded its first month-on-month decline in deliveries since launch, though it remains a key contributor to Leapmotor's sales.
A10 deliveries totaled 24,457 in September, down 24.08% from a record 32,214 in August and accounting for 23.15% of Leapmotor's monthly deliveries, data compiled by CnEVPost shows.
Cumulative A10 deliveries reached 153,423 by the end of September. Leapmotor previously announced that the model's 100,000th production vehicle rolled off the line on August 7, just 135 days after launch, setting a company record for reaching that milestone.
The A10 went on sale in China on March 26 with 4 variants priced from 65,800 yuan ($9,780) to 86,800 yuan at launch. The top trim is equipped with LiDAR.
The model has a motor with a maximum output of 90 kW and offers 39.8 kWh and 53 kWh batteries, delivering CLTC ranges of 403 kilometers and 505 kilometers, respectively. It remains unclear whether the A10s will share those core specifications.
The A10 is also the first global model built on Leapmotor's A platform. Its overseas version, the B03X, opened for pre-orders in Europe in early July and features a more powerful 145 kW motor.
