Zeekr, the premium brand of Geely Auto (HKEX: 0175), plans to launch an updated version of its 001 shooting brake in the first quarter of 2027, while offering limited-time purchase incentives for the current model in October.
Zeekr announced the plan on its official social media accounts on Thursday, giving consumers advance notice of its next product update to help them plan their purchases.
The company said the 2027 zeekr-001" class="tag-link text-primary font-medium">Zeekr 001 will retain the current model's shooting brake styling and 900-volt architecture, while offering improved comfort features, more personalized styling options and a broader lineup.
The announcement did not disclose detailed specifications or pricing. Zeekr said it has received numerous suggestions for product improvements from users as the current 001 approaches its first anniversary on the market.
For the current 001, Zeekr is offering a 10,000 yuan ($1,480) insurance subsidy, alongside a choice of 3 incentives: a financing package, a discount on the final payment or an allowance for optional extras.
These incentives apply to buyers who pay a 5,000 yuan deposit between October 1 and 31. Depending on the variant, buyers can also receive free optional equipment, including wheels and brake calipers, or limited-time discounts on optional extras.
The update announcement comes as zeekr-001" class="tag-link text-primary font-medium">Zeekr 001 deliveries lag the brand's overall growth, with the model's share of brand deliveries falling to single digits.

Zeekr delivered 251,188 vehicles in the first 8 months of the year, up 100.40% year-on-year, underscoring the gap between the brand's overall expansion and declining zeekr-001" class="tag-link text-primary font-medium">Zeekr 001 deliveries.
Zeekr has yet to release its September delivery figures, which are expected later today.
The current zeekr-001" class="tag-link text-primary font-medium">Zeekr 001 was launched on October 11, 2025, with a starting MSRP of 269,800 yuan. All variants were upgraded to a 900-volt architecture from the predecessor's 800-volt system.
The 95-kWh Golden Battery variant introduced at the time supports 12C fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 10% to 80% in 7 minutes.
Zeekr is also updating other models. The company announced on September 3 that the 2027 Zeekr 7X SUV is scheduled to launch in the fourth quarter of this year.
