Seres reported a net loss of 1.72 billion yuan in H1 2026, reversing a year-earlier profit, as battery-grade lithium carbonate prices surged 132% and chip shortages hit margins. A 1.75 billion yuan intangible asset impairment and falling vehicle sales compounded the decline, despite a slight rise in NEV sales.
