TI's TMCS2100-Q1 sensor boosts EV traction inverter accuracy
Texas Instruments unveiled the TMCS2100-Q1, a coreless Hall-effect current sensor that measures magnetic fields on two axes for hybrid and electric vehicle traction inverters, cutting displacement error to under 1%. This precision improves torque control, efficiency, and reduces vibration-induced errors that cause jerky acceleration and range loss.
