Polestar and Oxford use eye trackers and heart-rate monitors to measure how EV performance feels
Polestar and the University of Oxford fitted 12 drivers with eye trackers and heart-rate monitors at Sweden's Gotland Ring to quantify how performance feels behind the wheel of two Polestar 4 variants. The 544 hp Performance pack model delivered 32% higher peak acceleration and needed 15% less steering effort than the 268 hp Rear motor version on matched laps, and drivers rated it far higher on experience.
