T&E Urges EU to Strengthen ETS Review for Clean Transport, Aviation and Shipping

Transport & Environment welcomed the European Commission's pragmatic ETS and MSR review proposal, calling for its scope extensions and support for new technologies in aviation and shipping to be protected. The group also pressed for further improvements, including backing for eSAF and SMAP, contrails incentives and transhipment derogations.
