IBU-tec Wins Permit for Europe's Largest LFP Battery Materials Plant in Bitterfeld-Wolfen
IBU-tec advanced materials AG has secured a key building permit from Saxony-Anhalt's State Administrative Office for a 15,000-ton-per-year LFP cathode material plant at Bitterfeld-Wolfen. The facility, slated to start production in early 2028 with its entire output secured by PowerCo for 10 years, would make IBU-tec Europe's only industrial-scale LFP cathode material producer.
