LANXESS Opens Battery Lab in Germany to Advance LFP Cathode Materials

LANXESS has opened a new battery laboratory at its Krefeld-Uerdingen site to test and develop iron oxide and iron phosphate materials for lithium iron phosphate batteries. The facility aims to speed up material development and cell testing as Europe races to build an LFP supply chain independent of Asia.
