Oregon utility PGE is promoting electrified medium- and heavy-duty commercial trucks as grid-ready assets that can help manage peak electricity demand. The utility is already testing vehicle-to-grid energy dispatch from electric school buses while pushing back on claims that EVs overload the grid.
