Corvus Energy to supply 40 MWh batteries for BC Ferries' four hybrid-electric Summit Class ships

BC Ferries has selected Corvus Energy to deliver 40 MWh of battery systems for four new hybrid-electric ferries, with each ship capable of reaching 70 MWh for nearly emission-free sailing. The vessels, set to arrive by 2029, will reduce emissions and support future all-electric operation once shore charging is available.
