EU Electric Company Car Targets Could Create 344,000 Jobs by 2030, Study Finds
A new Transport & Environment study finds that binding EU targets for electrifying large corporate fleets, combined with restricting fiscal support to electric Made-in-EU company cars, could generate 344,000 jobs, €48 bn in economic gains and €38 bn in investment by 2030. Germany and Poland would benefit most, though T&E warns that weakening the Made-in-EU rules or delaying the 2028 start date would erode the gains.
