Solar panels revive idle Massachusetts cranberry bogs through agrivoltaics

Two Massachusetts cranberry bogs that had been abandoned for financial reasons are producing berries again, with overhead solar panels and battery storage helping fund the operations. The projects, among the first agrivoltaic cranberry harvests, pair 1–4.4 MW of solar with up to 13.5 MWh of battery storage across sites in Plymouth and Kingston.
