Mercedes to drop EQE sedan, Maybach EQS SUV, and AMG S63 PHEV from US lineup in 2027

Mercedes-Benz is discontinuing the EQE sedan, the Maybach EQS 680 SUV, and the AMG S63 E Performance plug-in hybrid from its US lineup for 2027. The move clears space for next-generation EVs built on the MMA platform, including the new CLA and GLB, as Mercedes retires its first-generation EQ models.
