LG Energy Solution Starts Production at New Lansing Battery Plant
LG Energy Solution has begun production at its new 226-acre Lansing, Michigan facility, targeting over 35GWh of annual capacity and 1,700 jobs at full scale. The plant will make LFP cells for energy storage and NMC cells for Toyota EVs, helping automakers meet U.S. domestic content requirements.
