Wales grants EV charging sites full rates relief until 2036

The Welsh government will fully exempt EV charging bays and forecourts from non-domestic rates until 2036, removing a key cost barrier for operators. The move aims to boost charging infrastructure expansion, especially in areas with few current chargers, and follows a March rollout of a planning tool for all 22 local authorities.
