Appalachian Power, 3CE launch RFPs for up to 800MW of BESS capacity

Appalachian Power issued two RFPs seeking up to 800MW of battery energy storage in Virginia, while 3CE also launched a separate procurement for at least 20MW projects. The solicitations support state clean energy targets requiring significant storage additions by 2040.
