Sakuu prints 100% dry carbon fiber lithium-ion cell on Kavian platform, claims thermal runaway immunity

Sakuu has produced a fully functional 0.5 Ah lithium-ion cell with dry-printed anode and cathode using carbon composite and polymeric current collector technology on its Kavian manufacturing platform. The metal-free design is claimed to resist thermal runaway and to be mass-producible cost-effectively, though the cells are not yet commercially available.
