SpaceX to Buy 800 MHz Spectrum, Targeting Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile as Starlink Mobile Carrier
SpaceX has agreed to acquire Grain Management's nationwide 800 MHz spectrum portfolio, enabling Starlink Mobile to operate as a full US carrier rather than a satellite add-on. The deal, pending FCC approval, follows the agency's green light for 15,000 Gen2 Starlink Mobile satellites and sent shares of major US carriers lower in extended trading.
