Nuremberg Deploys All-Electric Construction Fleet for CO₂-Free Demolition
Nuremberg has launched Bavaria's first public tender for a fully emission-free demolition project, using only electric or hydrogen-powered machinery at the former Sauerbrey nursery site. The city’s all-electric fleet, including Volvo CE excavators and an electric truck, operates on regular construction power, cutting noise and local pollution without special charging infrastructure.
