BW ESS acquires 1,000MWh Yanco BESS in Australia from ACEnergy

BW ESS has acquired the 250MW/1,000MWh Yanco battery energy storage system in New South Wales, taking over construction and long-term operation from developer ACEnergy. The project, set for commercial operation in 2028, will provide firming and grid services to Australia's National Electricity Market.
