Tesla Plans $10B Solar Factory in Texas, Plus $20-25B AI Chip Plant
Tesla is reportedly planning a $10.1 billion solar cell factory near Houston, Texas, dubbed 'Project Crystal Sun,' which would include wafer, ingot, and cell production. Additionally, Tesla and SpaceX are considering a massive $20-25 billion computing hardware plant, called TERAFAB, to address AI-driven chip shortages.
