Dubai VDX certified as world's first purpose-built commercial eVTOL vertiport
Dubai's new VDX vertiport, developed by Skyports Infrastructure, has received regulatory certification from the UAE's aviation authority, enabling commercial electric air taxi operations. The facility features two dedicated pads and fast-charging infrastructure, aiming to serve up to 170,000 passengers annually as part of Dubai's planned Air Taxi network.
