Asahi Kasei Opens Wet-Process Battery Separator Coating Line in North Carolina
Asahi Kasei held a grand opening for its new Hipore wet-process lithium-ion battery separator coating line at its Celgard facility in Charlotte, North Carolina. The investment expands North American separator production capacity, with commercial output slated for the second half of fiscal 2026.
