City Harvest Deploys Three Volvo VNR Electric Trucks in the Bronx, Opens Ride-Along Event
New York City's largest food rescue organization has acquired three zero-emission Volvo VNR Electric semi trucks, equipped with battery-electric refrigeration units, for food rescue and delivery across all five boroughs. The Bronx is Breathing initiative, backed by a $10 million state clean transportation award, will host a public ride-along event at the Fulton Fish Market Cooperative on September 24.
