Toyota recalls 8,521 electric C-HR SUVs over software glitch that can cut power while driving
Toyota is recalling 8,521 electric C-HR crossovers because a battery control software error can cause overcharging and sudden loss of drive power. Dealers will update the battery ECU software free of charge, with owner notifications due October 18, 2026.
