Cabot redirects $50M DOE grant to expand battery conductive additive production in Louisiana and Texas

Cabot will use a modified $50 million Department of Energy grant, plus about $75 million of its own funds, to expand battery conductive additive production at existing plants in Franklin, Louisiana, and Pampa, Texas. The two-site brownfield project replaces an earlier planned Michigan plant and is expected to begin operations by the end of 2028.
