Tesla quietly lowers 2026 capex guidance to over $20B in Q3 10-Q

Tesla cut its 2026 capital spending forecast to "in excess of $20 billion" in its Q3 10-Q, down from the "more than $25 billion" guided since April, a change not disclosed in its shareholder letter. The revision comes as Tesla reported $1.53 billion in free cash flow, a figure heavily reliant on a $2.59 billion working capital boost from unpaid bills.
