Coalition Urges EU Circular Economy Act to Scale Battery Recycling, Curb Black Mass Exports

A joint letter from T&E, Recharge, Clean Tech for Europe and EIES calls on the EU to include concrete measures in the upcoming Circular Economy Act to scale battery recycling and material recovery. With over half of Europe's recycling capacity at risk and at least 60% of black mass exported, the groups warn of lost critical minerals, jobs and strategic autonomy.
