EIA: 83 GW of renewables and storage to be added in US over next 12 months as fossil fuel capacity falls
The US Energy Information Administration projects about 82.7 GW of new renewable and battery storage capacity will come online in the next 12 months, while fossil fuel and nuclear capacity declines by more than 1.4 GW.
