Xpeng confirms South Korea entry, names ex-Volvo Korea exec Lee Man-sik to lead local unit

Xpeng has confirmed plans to enter the South Korean market and appointed former Volvo Cars Korea executive Lee Man-sik as managing director of Xpeng Korea, effective December 1, 2026. The launch timeline and initial model lineup are not yet announced, as Xpeng leans on record overseas deliveries to offset a year-to-date sales decline at home.
