Hyundai and RISD Extend Biodesign Research Partnership to Explore Nature-Inspired Future Mobility
Hyundai Motor Group and Rhode Island School of Design are continuing their seven-year research collaboration, with the 2026–27 Regeneration Studio exploring the theme "Motion Rewild." The program examines biomimicry and biodesign as pathways to more circular, nature-inspired mobility technologies, including physical AI systems that operate in uncontrolled environments.
