Sila Gets Conditional $1.4 Billion US Loan to Expand Domestic Battery Anode Manufacturing

Sila has secured a conditional loan commitment of up to $1.4 billion from the US Department of War's Office of Strategic Capital to expand silicon-carbon anode production and build a battery cell facility at its Moses Lake, Washington site. The funding aims to reduce US reliance on Chinese anode processing and battery cell production, strengthening supply chains for defense and critical technologies.
