ISO-NE Wind Generation Up 68% in 2026 as Regional Capacity Grows 47%

Wind generation in ISO New England averaged 68% higher in the first nine months of 2026 than the same period in 2025, with September hitting a monthly record of 668.9 GWh. The jump follows a 47% increase in regional wind capacity so far this year, bringing installed capacity to 2.5 gigawatts.
