Volkswagen has opened orders for the entry-level ID. Cross Trend, an electric SUV with a 37 kWh LFP battery priced from €27,995 (about $31,500) in Germany. The affordable model offers up to 201 miles of WLTP range and DC fast charging from 10% to 80% in roughly 23 minutes.
