Volkswagen to launch €20,000 entry-level EV in 2027, its most affordable electric car yet

Volkswagen will introduce a smaller, cheaper EV than the ID. Polo in 2027, starting at around €20,000 ($22,500), as part of its Electric Urban Car Family aimed at rivals like BYD. The production version of the ID. EVERY1 concept, expected to be called the ID. Up!, will use a 37 kWh LFP battery and a 70 kW motor with at least 250 km of range.
