Volkswagen has opened pre-orders for the ID. Polo GTI, the first all-electric model to wear the iconic GTI badge, priced from 39,995 euros (about $45,000). The front-wheel-drive hot hatch pairs a 222-hp motor with a 52 kWh battery offering up to 267 miles of WLTP range and 105 kW DC fast charging.
