Xpeng opens automated Iron humanoid robot line, targets mass production by year-end

Xpeng has commissioned an automated production line for its Iron humanoid robot, with over 80% of core processes automated, and confirmed plans to start mass production by the end of 2025. The robot, powered by in-house Turing AI chips, will initially deploy at Xpeng stores and campuses before a 2027 launch in China and overseas.
