Spiny 2 e-bike kit clicks onto your bike in three seconds with friction drive

A Kickstarter project called Spiny 2 uses a removable friction-drive system that snaps onto an existing bicycle in about three seconds, combining motor and battery in a 2.2 kg unit. The street-legal kit offers up to 20 mph assistance and a claimed 90 km range, though it is untested by reviewers and range figures should be treated with caution.
