Honda unveils serious electric mountain bike, signaling return to mountain biking after 20 years
Honda has unveiled an electric mountain bike prototype at Sea Otter Europe in Girona, Spain, marking a serious return to mountain biking after roughly two decades away. The e-MTB features a carbon monocoque frame co-developed with Rotwild and a Shimano EP8-series mid-drive motor, with Honda already collecting rider interest in Germany.
