Fraunhofer IAF GaN power module drives compact bidirectional 800V off-board charger demo

Fraunhofer IAF and partners in the GaN4EmoBiL project developed a 1,200V-class gallium nitride power electronics module for 800V bidirectional DC charging systems. The module powers a compact 3kW off-board charger demonstrator that enables bidirectional charging via CCS and could lower costs for EV power electronics.
