Origin Energy’s 650MWh Mortlake BESS begins commercial operations in Australia
Origin Energy has started commercial operations at its 300MW/650MWh Mortlake battery energy storage system in Victoria, using grid-forming inverter technology to enhance grid stability. The AU$400 million project, built by Fluence, is a key step in Australia's growing battery storage pipeline.
