Infineon TLE9744QK PMIC Combines Resolver Excitation and ASIL-D Safety Logic for EV Inverters

Infineon's new OPTIREG TLE9744QK power management IC integrates an inverter's supply rails, resolver excitation circuit and an independent safety engine into a single chip, cutting board area by up to 70%. The ASIL-D compliant device targets high-voltage traction inverters in electric and hybrid vehicles, with samples and evaluation boards available on request.
