Quantum battery prototype charges faster as it grows larger, defying conventional rules

Scientists have unveiled what they call the world's first working quantum battery prototype, which charges faster the larger it gets, inverting the usual rules of energy storage. While proponents see potential to one day power quantum computers or everyday devices, many experts remain sceptical about its real-world viability.
