Tesla faces California trial over racial harassment and pay discrimination at Fremont factory

Tesla goes on trial today in a California civil rights case alleging that its Fremont factory subjected more than 6,000 Black workers to racial slurs, segregation, and lower pay. It is the first government-brought discrimination case against the automaker to reach a full trial, with no cap on damages.
