Optivolt raises $32M Series A to embed smart power electronics in solar panels

Optivolt secured a $32 million Series A led by VXI Capital to scale its Power Balancer, which embeds active power electronics inside solar panels to recover energy lost to shade, dirt and degradation. The funding will expand manufacturing of the technology, already in more than 20,000 shipped panels, for applications from homes to utility-scale projects.
