Musk now targets Mars landing in 5-7 years, lander sooner

Elon Musk has updated his Mars timeline, now expecting humans to walk on the Red Planet in roughly five to seven years, with a lander arriving a few years earlier. The revised estimate follows NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman's push for nuclear propulsion as a more realistic path to Mars within 10-15 years.
